About Us
Antinea Martin
One Team was born from a shared vision between Antinea Martin and her business colleague, Alan Dabney, to strengthen the veteran community by connecting people with local veteran-owned businesses. Together, they believe that supporting veteran entrepreneurs is one more way to honor those who have served our nation.
Antinea is a passionate advocate for the veteran community with over 15 years of experience in IT project management. In 2019, she founded Love of God and Country, a nonprofit dedicated to serving homeless veterans and those at risk of homelessness. Guided by her Christian faith and a heart for service, Antinea has made it her mission to help veterans in meaningful and practical ways.
A natural problem solver, she developed a transportation program connecting veterans with rides to critical medical appointments and currently serves on the Board of Directors for Vets Helping Vets Greenville. She is also the owner of Advocate Insurance Group, where she specializes in helping veterans navigate their health insurance options.
Alan Dabney
Alan’s vision for One Team began with a simple belief: Veterans should have an easy way to find, support, and do business with fellow Veterans. After years of hearing Veterans express the need for a trusted Veteran-owned business directory, Alan set out to make that vision a reality.
Born into an Army family at Fort Bragg and a proud seventh-generation soldier with Native American heritage, Alan dedicated more than 33 years to serving his country. As a retired Army Master Sergeant, he deployed to Belize, Egypt, Iraq, Kuwait, and South Korea, creating lifelong friendships and gaining a deep appreciation for the people and places he encountered around the world. Today, he continues that same spirit of service as Greenville County’s Veteran Service Officer, helping Veterans navigate disability benefits and connecting them with valuable community resources.
Alan’s commitment to the Veteran community extends well beyond his career. He serves in leadership and volunteer roles with organizations including the Catawba Indian Nation Veteran Advisory Council, the American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW), Vets Helping Vets Greenville, the South Carolina Veteran Trust Fund, and several other Veteran service organizations dedicated to supporting those who served.
When Alan shared his vision with Antinea Martin, they quickly realized they had been pursuing the same mission from different paths. Together, they combined Alan’s lifelong dedication to Veterans with Antinea’s passion for advocacy, technology, and community building to create One Team, a Veteran-owned business directory designed to strengthen connections, support Veteran entrepreneurs, and encourage communities to intentionally support those who have served our nation.
